So why are all my comments closed?

Well, because I only enjoy intelligent conversation so I mostly talk to myself.

No no no no.. not really.  I talk to myself for a completely different reason.  My husband sometimes catches me calling myself an idiot and telling myself to shut up.  It really gives him a lot of ammunition when we argue.

My comments are closed because there’s a lot of haters out there and I don’t want my flow ruined by intruding disembodied voices.  I have enough of those already.  There are some blogs written by wonderful people and their commenting community are so very supportive.   I admire them greatly.  I’m not that nice or cheery a person and when I’m trying to be funny there’s always a percentage of people who think I’m being snide.  Or a poor excuse for a human being.  Someone out there really wants to tell me I should have got my tubes tied a long time ago and hopes child services comes to my home tomorrow.  I know it.  Consider it said.

Also, the majority of comments I get are crappy spam.
